Arts and Crafts Hollow Bronze Statue Repair

A hollow bronze statue was sheared off at the foot. The local bronze shop declared it not repairable. We mixed up enough EZ-Poly to fill the foot and added about a teaspoon of water to make it expand. We then taped the statue back in place. By the next day, the EZ-Poly had turned into a solid support column. The repair is undetectable.
