EZ-Poly can be used for almost anything. We continue to find new uses for this amazing material. Here are just some of the examples of how it is being used...

Traffic Control Markers: Here is a creative example of using EZ-Poly; the owner of a car wash needed to direct traffic in and out of his wash system. He secured them to the concrete floor with 1/4 inch thick layer of Concrete Crack Filler. They are holding up after years of use!

Mannequin Plastic Surgery: 'I have a mannequin that had a part of her nose that was missing.  I did "plastic surgery" on her with EZ-Poly. Her nose is now as beautiful as ever. .' -- D. Giannelli

Bonding Sink Molding to Wallboard: When traditional bonding agents failed to hold the artificial marble molding for a bathroom sink, it was glued to the wall board using a small amount of EZ-Poly.

LEXAN Fish Tank Cover: A LEXAN fish tank cover had fractured. EZ-Poly was used as a bandage on the underside of the cover after the edges of the fracture had been approximated. The bond has held for over a year and the material has not harmed the fish.

Resetting Nails and Screws: There are so many examples of using EZ-Poly to reset nails and screws into their original locations that we just stopped keeping track. It's been used on wallboard, particle board, plywood, hardwood, hollow core doors, plastic doors, office cubes, etc...

Kitchen Repairs: A battery powered hand mixer had broken when the plastic fitting on the end of the steel mixing shaft had fractured. A dollop of EZ-Poly was dropped into the hole and the rod pushed back into place. The repair has held for nearly 2 years.

Stone and Masonry: EZ-Poly repairs stone and masonry like nothing else on the market. Here is just a single example: Securing lag bolts to soft artificial stone facade: I needed to secure eight masonry bolts to an artificial stone face. The facade material was too soft to take any kind of a load (the bolts just pulled out). I drilled out an oversized hole, blew out the dust, and injected EZ-Poly using a syringe for dispensing pet medication (a gun dispenser would be real nice). The next day I drilled tap holes and then secured the bolts with a wrench.

Polaris Pool Sweep: We have direct experience of reparing no less than three (3) Polaris Pool sweeps over the last 10 years. One is still in operation. When the others failed, it was because the moving parts finally wore out. Our repairs contiued to hold strong and were the only part of the Polars that did not necessarily need to be replaced when it was taken in for major service!

Cement Mixer Repair: EZ-Poly was used to fill in the rusted-out sections of a small commercial cement mixer. The mixer no longer needs replacing.

Auto Mirrors: A complete rear window for a 1966 Nova was reseated. The original window frame had rusted out. The EZ-Poly filled in the missing metal and provided a seating for the window frame. The windshield mounted rearview mirror of an automobile was accidentally pulled off. EZ-Poly was applied to the metal foot and the window. The mirror as taped to the window for 24 hours. Six months later the mirror is still in place. The glass fell out of my rear view mirror and broke into 2 parts. I simply applied EZ-Poly to the back of each of the pieces of glass and put them pack into place. An external sideview mirror had snapped off. There had been several attempts to reattach the mirror to the car. EZ-Poly was finally used successfully.

Chernobyl: As a test for the use of the material in harsh environments, three EZ-Poly samples were exposed in the Chernobyl pressure suppression pool area of the forth unit from February 25 to March 28, 1993, for a total of 31 days. The average dose rate was 1200±100 R/hr for a total exposure of ~9×105 Roentgen. Gamma-spectroscopy measurements showed the absence of gamma-activated isotopes in the exposed samples (i.e., no induced secondary emissions). The measurements were taken six hours after the samples were removed from the source. Mechanical property tests were performed at the University of New Mexico Department of Mechanical Engineering Materials Testing Laboratory. The samples showed no signs of structural degradation. Only a slight discoloration, on one side of the samples, was observed. As to whether the material will cure in such an environment has yet to be determined.

Molding Compound: EZ-Poly was originally formulated as a molding compound. Not only is it great for making molds, it's also good at filling them. Since EZ-Poly can be worked like hardwood, once cured the initial model can be sculpted and tooled

Substitue for Bondo: I purchased your smallest size of EZ-Poly at Lee Valley Tools in Canada. I just love the product. It works really well and is a perfect substitute for bondo, in which I am severely allergic to.... Sincerely, Bruce A.

Waterfall Liner: My waterfall had a leak at the seam where two sections of pond liner overlapped. The seam was in a heavy traffic area where the children like to play in my artificial stream and the standard method of sealing the seam had failed. After trying a number of materials (and failing), I used EZ-Poly to secure the rubber-like liner to the cloth underlayment as well as the liner to itself. I used enough of the material to create a rigid area so as to prevent flexing. I have not had a leak sense.
